Her Legacy is a children’s subscription kit designed to introduce young readers to women in history. This kit highlights Sally Ride, the first American woman in space, through simple storytelling and interactive elements. The centerpiece is a helmet-shaped book with a laser-cut acrylic cover, paired with objects that make learning feel playful and hands-on.
Packaging and Book Design
The book introduces Sally Ride with short, kid-friendly text and simple, bold visuals. Since the pages follow the shape of the helmet, the layouts use open space and clear hierarchy to make everything easy for young readers to follow.
